The Roddenberries are the galaxy’s premiere Star Trekkified multi-media sci-fi rock cabaret, melded in Philadelphia in 2012 from a passionate love of Sci-Fi & Fantasy (and especially Star Trek) - and boldly go where no Star Band has gone before. This fun, energetic 9-piece troupe of professional musicians, cabaret performers, film makers, dancers and educators is truly a unique spectacle to behold, and entertains both geeks and muggles alike.


After a one-year mission working with Grammy award-winning producer Joe "The Butcher" Nicolo, The Roddenberries have just finished production of their explosive second album - "Eat The Roddenberries," featuring bold new parodies that will tickle your inner nerd with thoughtful lyrics, infectious melodies, and something for everyone.

The Black Tribbles present RESPECT: Women’s Podcast Festival, Saturday & Sunday August 24-25, 2019 at Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse in Philadelphia, PA - two full days of live shows women-led podcasts plus live music performances.

RESPECT: Women’s Podcast Festival is a festival committed to upholding women’s voices in the podcast medium. The festival’s mission is to present a platform underscoring the diverse, thought-provoking content women deliver in emergent media while celebrating the belief that women should be seen and heard.

A portion of the festival proceeds will be donated to Philadelphia School Partnership: a non-profit organization with a mission to improve outcomes for low-income students and respond to the demand of families by expanding access to great schools, Teach PHL: an online resource providing teachers, school administrators and support staff in various Philadelphia schools with information and resources necessary to ensure every student receives a quality education, and Donors Choose: a nonprofit organization connecting donors classrooms in need.
